My IT ! black girls…

It’s something about their choices of colors, textures, fabrics, jewelry and love of all things tribal, neon, print…or maybe it’s their flair (sense of personal style that allows them to ‘break the rules’) that makes them appealing.  I’d say one of them is Rachel Roy who’s come from being relatively unknown to a darling in the new york fashion circles, good signs she’ll be around for a little while. Then there’s Genevieve Jones, the new york socialite with roots in New Orleans and muse to designers such as Zac Posen, and now turned jewelry designer. And, lastly Pop magazine editor Shala Monroque who claims her sartorial choices are highly influenced by growing up in her native St. Lucia (fruits, flowers, color…)

Got to love them ! I do…
